Here is my attempt at translating the very first episode of the webtoon Penguin loves Mev into English.

For fun, I have laid this whole episode out like a screen play. I have not followed the script formats used by the film/TV/stage/radio industry closely, but only borrowed some of the elements that seem to be appropriate for the story telling.

Episode 1. CLEB Penguin

• Hello. My nickname is "CLEB Penguin".
• I suppose I became Penguin ever since I put on a penguin patterned sweater.

[MEV, a fair-haired blue-eyed young British man dressed in baby blue with a top hat enters.]

Mev

• That's right.
• She wants to look like a Penguin.

Penguin

• So, can you guess what is the meaning of "CLEB"?

• CUTE!
